Just to make sure we have covered all bases in getting the message through here is a copy of the E-News sent to all WAKSA members yesterday.

The WAKSA “End-of-Season” break-up - CANCELLED.
Sorry to have to do this at this late stage but due to some unavoidable problems we have had to cancel the end-of-season celebration planned for City Beach SLSC this Thursday evening.
As advised we had planned to use this end-of-season wrap-up to take nominations for the 2010/11 committee. We would still like to hear from anyone who is planning to join the crew for the coming season. If you were planning to ‘put up your hand’ at the meeting you could email your intention to: [email protected] .au
#8232;After such a great year of having a larger than normal crew we sincerely hope there will be new members keen to come aboard to keep the momentum going.#8232; NB: nominations for the 2010/11 committee will remain open till one month prior to the AGM (July?)#8232;.
All skills are welcome but please be reminded we are in particular need of a competent book-keeper to take over the treasury role. If you have any questions on this particular executive position please contact the existing crew at : [email protected]
The date and venue for the rescheduled meeting/celebration will be announced as soon as details are organised. At this time we would hope that it will be able to become the official May General Meeting of WAKSA at a date towards the end of next month. We are open to suggestions for motions, or discussion items, members would like to have included on the agenda for that next meeting.
