If you would like to compete at the Nationals in Geraldton in January but haven't made the preselection list , we still have a few spots that are open .

Please contact us at [email protected] with your details so that we can put you in for consideration .

There are a lot of talented riders that have chosen not to ride in comps up to date for many reasons including judging and format .
We will be using a new judging system and format based on what was used at the Gravity Games .
Hopefully this will provide us with a fair and balanced result that will determine who is the most versatile rider all-round .

The Nationals will also have a Wave component this year that will contribute to 40% of the overall winners score .

There is a huge effort going into the organisation of social funtions as well, so even if you don't want to compete it would be worth coming up for a few drinks as well as see what the top riders are capable of . Then go out and enjoy the sensational conditions that Geraldton offers kiters .

I'm sure that WAKSA and Gavin H would also appreciate any volunteers to help out with a heap of very important jobs like:
  • judges (could use some qualified surfing judges for the wave contest)

  • score keepers

  • time keepers

  • flag marshals

  • competitor liaison officer

  • beach marshals

Please email [email protected] if you wanna party and are prepared to help out up @ Gero :-)
