Is anyone using the eps 5050 surfboard construction that Stacey and Chilli surfboards offer for kitesurfing?

They look strong enough on paper, just seeing if anyone has any feedback ?

cheers

Haha EPS for kiting durability.

Youre funny.

I would be skeptical. Stringerless eps and kiting will fail. I've done 2 eps boards, standard glass job just surfing. EPS + extra glass or as a laminate with bamboo etc and you might get a reasonable life out of it.

What you mean, all the big kiteboard brands use it. The EPS itself is not strong but it's cheap and light so they can load more cost/weight into glassing.

As for 5050 EPS "technology" - I read about it and couldn't find the bit where they solve the water intake issue of EPS.
