look harder wrex, been plenty of action at graveyards and wobiri over the past few days. you will see the kites
try bundegi (10 mins north of town) for the morning easterlies, its cleaner and deeper than town beach

Kited sandy bay by myself good spot but just flat water.
Left there about 2.30 driving back to exmouth saw a kite of to the left Yes this was Graveyards not sign posted but is 33kms by my speedo from the tourist burea in town. If you hit Tantabidi boat ramp from exmouth town site you have gone too far.

The local don't get down there till after 3.30 i had been past before but much earlier. Kited Graveyards at low tide several sandy banks with small knee to waist high waves rolling over the 3 sand banks up to a kilometre out.

Locals are very freindly no where to buy any kitesurfing or pole dancing equipment up here do a thorough check before you leave perth. Geraldton is the closest shop. Had people from Vic, SA and one lucky bugger from Margret river.

G'day Chris ... we are KEEN as well ! ... will come down with a mate from Koh Samui (no wind here yet until mid-november)

Heard you are getting back soon from Bali.

When do reckon this is going to happen ? Full moon kiters party on Saturday the 7th October sounds sick ... If you can't get it organised by then, how 'bout the next weekend 14th ? We can definitely make it then.

cheers for now.

PS: Is it ok if we bring our Thai ***** harmem's with us ?????? Heard theres no muff there except the odd backpacker or twenty !

Hey Gruez
Theres heaps of 'em around, go to the lighthouse and enjoy the view, the buggers are breaching all over the shop.
Apparently theres heaps down at the Bay of Rest, they hang down there with their calves and guess what, they're resting. Might be good for a morning trip before heading out, its in the Gulf near the airport

Saw the best whale breach ever yesterday at Turquoise Bay. Was having a chat to a couple backpacking nyphettes about how not to drown while snorkelling when theres heaps of swell (yes I love my job!!) and this bugger went for the biggest leap I've ever seen. Totally airborne in 3 metres of swell.
This place is truly amazing.
Did I mention the wind, nooooooooo that would make you all froth tooooo much.

If you've seen one whale.....
You've seen them all !

Kitesurfing thru a school of flying-fish is more trippy.
