Absolute best time to go Exmouth kiting is the 4th to 11th of Oct.
This is when the Exmouth kiters are hosting the WAKSA 2009/10 seasoner opener event.
Read all about it here .....

Hey POAS, that's why I 'calculated' 11 October for the first seabreeze in Perth, that is the day I will arrive back.

ianmac is right the breezes are more thermal (seabreeze) later in the year. But the swell all but disapears by november.Plus its 15to 20 SW this week.
Get a map of the cape. Graveyards is 2 access roads south of baudin access near yardie caravan park. or head down to sandy bay in the national park for flat water.

Sam we also have another 14 year old kiter coming up from Coral Bay so I am sure he would love to kite with you.
We will also have IKO instructors and a rescue boat on hand if anyone gets into trouble. So if you haven't kited in Exmouth before this will be a great intro for you.

Any one else who wants to test the latest kites head to head at Sandy Bay with the odd downwinder back to the caravan park(up to 43km if you go the whole way), then watch the WAKSA website for enrollment details.

See you there

Scott

We have Wouter's Mum flying in last minute from holland, we only found out yesterday, we are just gonna rough it, but cant expect her to do that, Can anyone recommend somewhere nice for her to stay? jeez thats if its not already fully booked

There is still some chalet left in the caravan parks, not exactly 5 star but at least you can get out of the wind and sun.
