Lets not forget that kites sitting out in the sun or in hot cars weakens construction - especially here in WA where it gets up to 40+ in the height of summer. We all leave our slightly soggy kites cooking in the boot of our cars when we are pulling 4-5 sessions a week.
As the saying goes take care of your kit and it will take care of itself.
This has nothing to do with this topic, but I took extremely good care of my lines, washing them in fresh water after every session, and in under less than a year, they are stretched. Carry on...
