Hi,

I'm thinking about a week in Fiji over New Year but I dunno much about the place!

Any tips on places to stay, typical wind etc greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Fiji rocks dude! a few pints of carva and you can do anything!

The waves are massive at Namotu. I prefer using my windsurfer in that stuff, but the flat gay lagoons are good for kiting.

Hope that helps

Watch the cyclone season from December. Local backpackers $5-$10 a night.

Thanks for the info guys - seems the kitesurfing is done on the north beaches. Does anyone know if there are any kiteable beaches on the west or north west?

Thanks.

hi mate. go stay at walu beach and they'll take you out to namotu every day if you want and theres lots of lagoons around if you want flat water. stay away from safari lodge though, unless you want it all to go badly.
