Over on the poley's forum they're laughing at how lame that kiting was compared to Polakow.
To be fair it seems to me that the wind direction was not ideal for kiting that size of waves, but also Wilson not using straps is a serious disadvantage in waves of this size where the balance of speed, chop and kite is extremely delicate - so he can't do much more than hang on and take the drop.
Looks like he need straps to me
Where are they laughing?anyone who laughs at that is a kook .having said that the poley was ripping wheras the kiter looked like he was surviving it but credit where its due eh, kiting that at all and surviving to tell the tale is something that most people don't do.
