^ I agree with Rowdy's second sentence, having lived and surfed in WA my whole life, surfing predominantly lefthanders I actually taught myself to ride switch one year whilst spending a couple of weeks surfing Jakes. I found it easier to make the late steep drops on my forehand (or maybe it was just that then I wasn't looking directly at the reef) but over the years I went back to natural until it was the only way I would ride, mainly because I love cranking backhand bottom turns.
I probably should practice riding switch more just so I have the chioce but I think on lefts in WA with the SW's it is easier to get more vertical on my backhand as the kite is then more front of you, rather than having to adopt some kind of twisted bowel stance

off the top if I am riding goof (switch) because the kite is then behind you.
Strange as it may sound I often ride switch when on a righthander for the same reason.
Back on topic, yep I am hanging out for some frontal conditions to whip up some swell, but have the next 4 days off and go back to work on Wed -Thurs
