Had a great late arvo session at the Bar at caloundra yesterday. First kite in a while and Man it was so good to get skimming across that water again! Just cemented back into my sole how much l love this sport! Such a good spot when its on! if you have not kited there before put it on the top of your things to do list. Butter flat water in the mouth, perfect launch ramps out the back!
Keep you eyes on this place over winter. there will be lots of oportunites to ride here in between the westerly days.
I am up in Caloundra next Friday and was wondering if its worth bringing my kite. What wind direction is the best for the location? are there any board hire shops nearby?

You lucky... Anyway, there are the moments when you realize how goooood it is kitesurfing. There is nothing to compare with it in the world. Hope this weekend to be on the water by all means.
