Anyone else have consistent problems with valves on the leading edge of their Fuels. Mine keep blowing open when crashing the kite thus expelling air at a slow rate. I appreciate that it could save your leading edge from exploding, but some of the crashes aren't that hard, the valve seems loose. i was wondering if there was trick to keeping them from slipping out, I am still on my 05's, love the kite, hate this feature.

Put a small zip-tie around the female piece just with right tension so you can still push the male section in but it will stop the valves popping open when unwanted.

Cheers guys that was a quick reply. Sunseeker that is a cracker of an idea, thanks mate. I used a silicone cone instead of wasting a pump nozzle, you can get them for free at the local hardware, for anyone else who has problems and doesn't have a spare pump nozzle. BTW it worked perfectly.

Haven't had this problem on my 11 or 17 '05 fuels.
Have had the female part of the valve peel away from the bladder though. Fixed it once by opening the bladder along the seam, re-welding the valve to the baldder via iron (and magazine to insulate). Then re-welded seam with bag sealer. All ok for a few rides then same prob.
Am now going to buy a valve kit with self adhesive stuff on the valve. Hopefully that will work. Cheers, Warren

Glad it worked Bowski, I was as stoked as you are with this method.

The best way to stop it happening is to open the inlet valve as well when you deflate your kite. If you leave the plug in the valve stretches over time.
