Found out my smallest strut is leaking a little bit air the other day and I took it out and I'm pretty sure it's right where the valve is so I can't really put a piece of repair patch there.. Anyone know any good like glue or plastic padding or anything I can just rub out there to cover up that tiny hole? And where to buy it..

Hi Dave,

If you go into any cycle shop and ask for some tube repair glue they will sell you a tube of it for about 5 or 6 bucks.

I repaired a customers Slingshot Fuel leading edge where the stick on valve had come away and rapidly deflated whilst flying out the back of Woodies . He was lucky to make it back in to the beach before it fell into the water as a bedsheet.

The valve was easy to repair with the glue but getting the LE bladder back in was a bit of a challenge.

A strut will be easy, use either the glue for valves and stuff, or we sell "Tear-Aid" for larger repairs and canopy rips see http://www.kiteboardingschool.com.au/shop.htm#Tear%20Aid We even have an old bladder laying around of which we can send you pieces for repairs.

Good winds,

Alright that tube repair glue should do the trick. I got other repair stuff I got with my kite, don't think I'll need it though cause it's very strong and durable. Just the valve's leaking because of wear and tear I suppose, all the other valves and struts/LE is mint condition. Thanks anyway
