Hey guys,

Does anybody know of beginner friendly flat water spots on the NSW central coast? [Roadtrip!!!] I can't find much on kitebeaches.

Thanx!

Yeh there's a few really good spots. For NEsters there's three good spots. Hargraves beach just south of Budgewoi is relatively flat water despite being open water. There's a place called Halekulani with is on the Budgewoi lake. The final spot would be the Entrance river mouth. For southerlies and swesterlies Canton Beach at Toukley is really good flat water. There's also a spot called Picnic Point at the Entrance which is on the lake side. Good in Winter for the swesterlies to northwesterlies. I think Hargraves beach is the best. This is where I learnt to kite.
