The board arrived :)

I can say it's very, very light for it's size.

Not at home atm (at the EU), this is from the other forum:

"Interestingly...today I rode a Flysurfer Razor for the first time. Wow! that thing rips upwind like crazy. Other guys were out with 16m and 17m (latest greatest Cabrinha kites) and barely staying upwnd on their "fatty" twin tips. I ripped upwind so fast on the Razor on an 11m kite (depowered!!) I was amazed... flysurfer.com/project/razor/

Now, in all fairness this Razor is a completely different experience to any twin tip or surfboard that I ride, It definitely took some getting used to and I still need to work on my transitions, etc...I ride upwind about a mile in 4 or 5 tacks...and when I decided I better go back downwind it was a bit of a challenge...so I need to work on that as well. Some people might not enjoy this sort of ride at all...I do because it is a new challenge, plus I was ripping in light wind with a small kite. I probably could have been on my 8m."

Can't wait!

Cheers

Thanks for the review - I found it took a few hours to get comfortable downwind on my Sector 66 as well. Sector is a bulky beast to transport so was looking at something for light wind that was easier to carry etctheir you test out its feel as a large twintip at all? Did you sail it flat to engage the fins...would be interested to see how you get on over time

Update on this!

The board weight is ~5kg and accessories are 2.6kg. The fins are mini tuttle, one central hole on top for an SS bolt, epoxy fins.

The footpads are quite hard, two peaces - one symmetrical for a back foot, one asymmetrical for a front. 4 footstraps, looks ok but not too impressed.

No time to try it yet in Perth but this is from the FS:
