without wanting to sound too much like a smartarse i googled it and google mapped it and id say if you go to the beach somewhere along that stretch and you are getting a NE se breeze which it seems is pretyy common you will find a spot to kite
Hey Stuntnaz, Would not kite at Flynns Beach itself, not a lot of beach and plenty of mixed up wind in front of the cliffs along that section from Town Beach to Lighthouse. Lighthouse beach is pretty good down near the camel rides, give the camels a wide berth though, if you spook them the operator gets pretty cranky. Is also a good spot for a downwinder, from there down to Cathie or Bonny Hills is a good run. Over the river to North Beach and there is plenty beach and next to no crowd. There are some reasonable flat water spots around too. If your looking for someone to kite with, PM me your number. I kite most days when there is enough wind. Wind is looking good Friday and Saturday. Good winds and enjoy your stay
