Hello, I need an advice for choosing the right foil kite. I am wingfoiler which started parawinging. I went to the parawinging because of ripping bladders, cracking of valves and windows of the wings. But with konverted Flysurfer Peaks 4 4m and 5m, I can fly within 11-16m/s wind range. So for going lower 6-10m/s, I started to look at the foil kites. My idea is to choose the kite with which I could ride mountain board (I could learn in the near field before going into water), then foiling with 6.8’x22 board with foil, or try twintip. My budget is limited so I choosing between Flysurfer Unity 10m and Gin Marabou V1 9m. Which one you would recommend?
Mainly I will use on inland lakes, launching from the water.

The unity is a (nearly) 15 year old kite. Go for the Gin Marabou. Its less high performance so less likely to cause an issue and yard you during launch. Its lighter so less likely to stall in very light winds.
However, given your requirements of 6-10m/s (so 12-20knots) and launching from the water - get a secondhand single strut LEI like the airush ultra or ozone alpha. They will be cheaper and more versatile. Launching a foil kite from the water isn't a beginner skill. You'll get more time on the water so more improvement.
TLDR - Always go for the easier progression kite. You'll make more progression. If you don't know that you need the performance - you probably don't need the performance.

Thank you for the advice. I will check LEI kites.
