So does anybody in this part of OZ have a carafino (or similar) foilboard? Any shops have one? I would like to try one out for a project in the works.

I may have to get in contact with carafino directly if it all pans out, but at this stage i just want to try one out. If that means flying to QLD for a week then i may just have to do that :-)

I am really keen to give one a try as well........ maybe we could approach someone about doing a demo day in Victoria.. Or get a few people to chip in at least until we can know if we like it or not... before having to purchase outright individually. maybe even a shop down here may be interested in getting a demo .......

Any shop owners in victoria keen on this idea? I would estimate they would cost around 4k but that's just a guess. I am definately not going to buy one without trying it out!

Hey Neill. I bought your old 11m sonic from you. I bought one last year so if your back in QLD any time and it's windy, let me know, and you can have a go at mine. You need to have a couple of hours spare to get the proper feel for the board. Or at least I did. Initially they are no walk in the park, but when you get a good run with it, you like it.
