Not sure if this is caused by kiting, but likely I think ?
Bruising and numbness around arch and closer to the heel of the right foot (right footer) usually more painful after a kite
I think Im arching my foot too much to gain a harder edge (twintip), solution different straps required or adjustment (little available) ?
Not so painful after kiting on the surfboard
Anyone experienced this ? strap preferences on twintip ? Any remedies ?

People often think that the tighter the better but the extra pressure eventually causes pain. Loosen up a bit man!!!

It could be your footpads don't suit your feet ..i had this problem with Nobile footpads and changed to another brand and the problem was reduced. Another solution and probibly a better one is to stretch and massage the tendons in the arch of your feet. This is really easy to do just get hold of a firm tennis ball put it on the floor and roll your foot arch back and foward on the ball. (This also helps for heel spurs.) Do it while eating breakfast and it will stretch the tendons nicely and set you up for the day. You will find that this shoud solve the problem fearly quickly if you.

I've had the same thing this week or so!! For about 10 days but it's slowly getting better. Haven't kited but it got worse when I was stretching too which makes me suspicious that it is actually a strained muscle or tendon. And perhaps beach walking / running ...

Found a lumpy / sore spot just where the arch meets the heel.

I ride a twin tip only and had tightened the straps a tiny bit (still some play there tho). The other thing was I did some big landings before it started...

I know that my bro had 'neuormas' on his soles when he was playing squash and stomping hard but this seems to be out of a pressure area.

Will rest and warm up my feet / massage the area from now on, especially with the colder weather. Hope this helps!

of coarse everyone is different, but I think lots would benefit from loose foot straps so you can move about a bit and the pressure isn't always in the same place. Also, good fitting joggers for support when not on the water (aid recovery and lessen further injury).

Running on sand in bare feet is really tough on feet and joints. If you can handle it, cool. but if you got soreness, there is not many things that cause greater strain.

I had some issues some time back with my feet i tried the under ground foot pads which are a bit softer than most, you need to also make sure that the pad is pushed as far forward as possible, ( the slotted holes allow some movement )other wise there can be a small gap which is another problem. ,,,,,,go the underground pads i never looked back
well worth a go

not being funny but,, have you got you footpads on the board on the right sides, I rushed to put mine on some years back and put the left pad on the right side and visa versa, after kiting for an hour my instep was bloody killing me, couldnt figure out why, then looked at my board on the beach and twigged it, pads were realy comfy when i put them on the right way round. Lesson more haste less speed. unless its really windy of course.

anything that can go wrong, will go wrong when rushing to get out there, I know that from experience too

emu oil works a treat combined with the tennis ball

btw, no wind helping too
