Hey anyone have any leads on inexpensive footpads or materials to use for homemade ply boards? I've been experimenting making some different shapes in laminated ply. I've used some yoga mat but its too slippery. Even thought of sticking my thongs to the board (just kidding)

The new Dakine footbeds are not too dear and the best I've used so far.
They've got a ridge along the front that allows you to "lock in" with your toes, but still realease easily if you want to bail.

Kitepower have them in their online shop

Rick, had a look, thanks for the tip, do you use the deckpads or footbed.. looks like the deckpads have the ridge?
