Hi,

I have an Underground FLX kiteboard with the X-Ray footstraps and contour deck pads, I dont know if it just my feet but my feet seem to slip out of the straps very easily when riding or jumping. Has anyone got any suggestions or can recommend some other straps which I can fit to my board??

Thanks

try adjusting your foot straps correctly... get them to follow the contours of your feet. Sounds realy simple but this will work...

Just having them flatish and tight will not work as you cannot get your whole foot into the strap !

Brownee's right, get a snug fit.

Also, if you are in a precarious position (like after a jump or swell screw up) pull your knees right up to your chest; taken immmediately, this action will help you keep the board on your feet.

I like the straps a bit loose, but know what you are talking about....a good snug fit works for me.

Also another point is to adjust the toe in toe out of your foot stance...

I'm not sure if you can do that on the underground boards, cant imagine why not though as most board brands have this capability...

A good way to see your natural foot stance is to get a large piece of butchers paper. Lay it on the floor, and hop onto it. Get someone to trace around your feet. Draw a line from toe to heel, right through the center and measure the distance between the points at the toes and again at the heels...

Use this as a guide for setting you stance on your board...

This could be the problem I think. I am going to have play around them and slacken them off a bit. I have had a problem with them before and thought that tightening them would help but it probably made it worse!
Thanks for your help guys.

Problem could be caused by the place you are kiting at
You might find the problem fixed when you return home
