where can I find wind statistics for this area?

when you say search here, it means here in the forum or on a link that i did not find in your post?

www.bom.gov.au for the average wind conditions - easiest way to do it is search on "wind roses" in the bom site

There are no wind roses from the BOM site for Forster Tuncurry but here is the Link for Port Macquarie for December. Port Macquarie is 1 hour North Of Forster and has similiar climate.

Hey uncle stay at Tiona caravan park about 12 minutes out of town but right at the heart of the kite spots....Ocean on one side for the easterly winds and lake on the other side for the (unlikely)westerly r..
