kitethrills or kite action are both in Caloundra. Neither do lessons for free.
Look them up, book a lesson and please learn the right way from a qualified instructor.
Once you get lessons the locals will welcome you, encourage & and help you. If you try to learn the cowboy way you hurt yourself, possibly others and draw the kind of attention we don't want at Caloundra.
It's worth it....it's addictive......be prepared to become obsessed!
