Just wanted to let everyone know that we have managed to get hold of a limited quantity of FUNK dvd. It shows Mark Shinn exploring what is possible in this sport as far as unstrapped board riding goes. It is incredible to watch what he can do unstrapped, and he truly does surfkite some really nice waves, great soundtrack, even has one of my favourite Prodigy tracks! Its on the website now.
Dave and Chappy watched all of it yesterday, maybe they can write a better review?

Definately the best wave riding I have ever seen. Mark Shinn is an athlete! I was stoked by this guys thirst for prgression and how much freestyle **** he can land on a board with no straps. It's a breath of fresh air when a kiter who made it to the top finally comes out and admits that pull up passes are a useless trick that forced many of the worlds pros to lose faith in competition. A must have for any DVD collection.
If I were that that girl off triple j who reviews movies I would give it 4 and a 1/2 start just because I am a stubborn biatch!
