We have didscovered that in a few kites after a munching in the waves the le seam may pop for a couple of cm adjacent to LE segment joins.
Please check your kite regularly for this .it is a quick 2 min straight stitch fix .Also make sure that your LE is pumped up hard .

I just found out mine has seperated at the second strut from the end on my 14. Hasnt been crashed or mishandled at all, probably has about 10 sessions on it.

Im getting a little peeved with the sonic now. broken chickenloops (a solution still not found), holes in the leading edge, bursting seams, bladders not aligned from factory, bars falling apart. This coupled with the poor support by the distributor is really dissapointing. Great kites, crap quality, crap support.

Kiterpilot,
Your post reeks of desperation. LOL.
Kite pimps are like vultures picking thru the bones of the dead and dying wind-creatures.
"Trust me, I'm a Bestman."
LOL.
