Many thanks to the NSWKBA and the Northside crew for organizing the Kiting day at Narrabeen. Although the wind gods failed to deliver the right stuff it turned out to be a ripper of a day and especially so for the Southside crew who cleaned up in the prize pool.
Well done Gav and crew and the sponsors for the big effort. The mateship in this sport is exceptional and today was a classic example of how great our sport is.
Looking forward to a great season and many more of these kinds of days.

cheers col ( alias the Galah Hunter ) ... I'll get you eventually oh great bird

ps. Hey Pete ...I'm still grinning mate

Mate how did I know that ... we stood on the beach at Narra and said....I bet its blowin down south ... BUT it was worth missing out on the Bay for today's fun in the North country .... I had forgotten though ,how bloody far it is from home to the northside so I take my hat off to all the 'Northlanders ' who regularly travel to god's own country to get their fill of fairdinkum southland wind [;)]

YUP. Every single windy day mate, just to see you guys smiling as I turn up, how much dedication is that hey!?
Was a great day, very well organised (THANKS to the NSWKBA and very special thanks to Gavin for organising such a great event!), I was stoked to see so many new faces so thanks for people for turning up and introducing themselves.. Hadn't seen that many kites on Narrabeen beach for ages and it was nice.
We really need to organise more of these events, there was a such a good vibe, it was a great day... (and cheers to the BBQ devotees!).
Thanks for Col, Steve, Ian and all the south siders who came up, was so nice for once to see you guys up here!
Very much looking forward the next event...

Had a great day, with kitesurfing Mates, some regular and some I hardly see at all.
Hoping to help inspire the SSKC to hold a return event, especially since us Southeners waltzed off with all but one prize I think.
Great to see so many more females into the sport this year and the general friendliness of everyone involved.
Big thanks to NSWKBA, Gav, Nicole, Chris, Selena, and several others who's names I do not know, but you know who you are!

Cya and

Goodwinds

Have put it in lost and found section but no one ever checks it, so...
Speaking of great mateship... If someone has accidentally taken or found my brand new 131 Jaime pro 08 that was sitting on the beach yesterday, it would be awesooooome if it was returned...
Thanks in advance

Hey, my Jaime's back home....
Good stuff!
Keeping up with last sunday's vibe!
I'm so glad it came back, I would have been so disappointed if it hadn't. But yeah, good group of lads we have around here so thanks HEAPS to whoever found that board and was kind enough to bring it back to the shop!
Thumb up mate. You just made my day!

Em

PS: got about 90 pics I took Sunday ( about half of them are Col's and Pete's action.... hardcore stuff... (MA)).... will edit some of them and post them soon!
