Anyone know anyone with one of the Upeksha Gawa racing twintip boards from a few years ago ?... or the chinese copy?
Trying to find one somewhere to buy.
Nick
Nick, you might wanna have a look around PRANBURI HUA HIN thailand maybe, i m not too sure but Will and i met a nice chap during the 2018 oceania :/asia under 17 olympic qualifiers TT racing for argentina, i think this person was producing or sort of shaping those kinds of boards there...cause some of the TT riders were using that board for sure.
don t really know if he still does actually, but he might have a few left in his shed, if you manage to get his contact , i m pretty sure he WILL HELP you cause he s a real nice guy, he gave Will a sort of light trouser wet suit to avoid beiing stung by jellyfish, after a few ttipers got stung bad.
hope it helps...
Thanks for the tip, I've been.in contact and they are no longer manufactured, so second hand options only....... and not many ( any ) that I've seen advertised in a long while.

Hey Nick include a photo of what one looks like?
They are an older board that was in when the course racing was twintips, but dropped out of vouge when formula boards, and eventually foil boards and ram air kites took over the elite racing scene. They stopped manufacturing them , but I'm sure someone must have one in the back shed somewhere they are willing to part with.
I'm also looking for one in Australia but haven't seen anything.
Just saw this picture earlier today of a current t board that look somewhat similar to the gawa but looks like it's from ozone.
Hahhaha..... I was at that race.... I came 3rd :)
It's not current, and it's not Ozone, it's about 3-4 years old.
That is on the list if I cannot find a second hand one, but I'm expecting a custom copy to be a lot more $$$...
I might have a lead so I'll see if it eventuates.
