I didnt get the all clear from the council and the water police until Friday morning and within 2 minutes I posted it up on the net ;) Apparently the person who normally issues licences is on leave so our request just got thrown around a bit before the big boss gave the ok when I called.

If someone else like to organise an informal one next time, it may not need as many permissions and licences. I'll be happy to sponsor it with a BBQ, drinks and throw a few freebies out as a prize draw

Talking about it how did Currumbin meet go? Hope all sorted and everyone kiting again happily!
