Its a real simple setup, every safety option you can imagine and more.Customizable, heaps of depower range and doesnt wear out!

The coolest thing is the soft bar ends.
I dont think any other manufacturers do this?.

They're really forgiving on your fingers if you dont catch the center of the bar after a handle pass or a powered kiteloop. The sweetest thing is the bar comes like this,,, standard on all kites!

As you put a question mark on the end of your statement, I thought I would reply. I was actually chatting to the Flexifoil bar designer last night and the soft bar end topic came up. The general gist of it was:-

Flexifoil have a finned rubber surface on the inner side of the bar ends for precisely this reason (and it works really well) and have done for the last three seasons bar designs. They used to have soft bars ends prior to this time, but stopped doing them, as they found the soft bar ends gave a soggy response to the kite feel.

I have to agree with you that hard bar ends certainly can hurt a lot.

Not meaning to be rude.
But a person who knows Flexi gear very well says the bar end is not in the same league as the Nuclear bar end.

Padded bar ends are definately good stuff once you try them. Standard bar ends I cant hold onto especially after a handle pass and the kite does a full kiteloop. But padded ones, no worries mate.

I did look at your site (and by the way it does not work to well in mozilla.)

I wish you all the luck with your product.

But please don't quote some bloke down the pub said this was way better than that. I could well imagine that he was saying that your bar was in a different league to the flexi bar (he might not have been implying a higher league though!).

You must remember that this is a forum and not and advertising service, and a forum is for discussion. You asked a question (more of a statement with a question mark) and I replied that other kite companies had done soft bar ends and the reason why they are still not doing them.

I just mentioned that Flexi had done soft bar ends before (since 2001) and has a soft side on their current bar. So that it is nothing new to have a soft end on a kite bar.

If you have found a way to have a soft bar end and not have a soggy kite feel then great. I can not comment on them as I have not used your brand of kites.

PS What is the peg for? Do you get one on each side when you buy the bar?

whats this for? if your passing the bar clean you wont need it, and if you are slipping to the end of the bar like that you might as well let go anyway, seems like a useless peice of extra bulk to me. thats my thoughts anyway.

The cool thing is if you don't like soft ends you can remove them and have standard rubbery ends that will hurt a bit more for the tuff buggers.

Flexi make great kites, The person who tipped me about it wasn't a punter but a retailer.

Anyway that's what's on the end of the Nuclear bar.

Can you get Leukeamia from this "Nuclear Bar", sounds dangerous. I'll stick with the old inaminate carbon rod thanks.
