Wouldn't want to be bodydragging to a board with those big fish around.

Ok, I give up!
Why would a video about kitesurfing in Alaska show the location as the west coast of South Australia?

what no boardies over wettie.i would have thought that the chances of dragging over abraisive ice and thus the chance of damage to wettie would have been quite high

That snow capped mountain (or perhaps frozen lake)off to the NE looks like it might be good for snow kiting tho

I can't explain the map but the co-ordinates seem to indicate somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere west of the 0 degree longitude!

Lake Gardiner: awesome flatwater location!
Maybe that should be the message that the WA crew would like to tell some of their Euro friends?

I'm sure you do! I used to live in your neck of the woods. Did lots of diving there (and south and west of there; Lincoln, Streaky and everywhere in between)
Would love to head back with some kites one day....

Last night I attended a promotional night at Surf FX on the Gold Coast with my 14 year old son and we were fortunate enough to get to chat with Kai Lenny.

I must admit, I had never really heard of him until I viewed the clip featured on this thread last week. After talking to him for about an hour I can tell you that he is one one of the most friendly, proffesional, polite and talented 20 year olds I have ever met.

Kai is touring Australia at the moment, so if you get the opportunity to catch up with him, I would highly reccomend doing so. Some of his life experiences will amaze you, especially his stories about surfing 60 foot waves at "Jaws" with the likes of Robbie Naish and Dave Kalama.....

I can also tell you that my son now has a new hero.....
