G'day folks.
I'm off to Heron Island GLadstone/ 100k S of Rockhampton on Sunday, but I was wondering if I should bother taking my kiting gear (15kg)... the forecast doesn't look great but windrose says good SE 12-16kt in December.
I'm good for 14-22kt, what do u's reckon the wind will be like next week in that area?

Buoyweather is predicting 18 gusting to 25kn sat, 16-22kn sunday, 12-18kn monday. I'd take the gear....beautiful coral reef lagoons, waves on the outside reef rims, and whatever wind is there should be nice and steady. High tides through the middle of the day too, so you should be good to go right across the reef. Enjoy!
