I'm new to the game and fall or get thrown off the board quite often my biggist worry is loosing the board
Yes I body drag up wind and eventually get it back but end out bloody nackered and a couple of times the guys at mullas have retrieved my board for me. I olso noticed in lost and found a lot of people loose a lots of boards . I've bought a gojoe
They may look crap but what a great piece of kit makes life so much easier when you loose your board and it beats wearing a leash which quite a few guys do

I used a bright orange kids floatie (arm floats) from the chemist, for about $10, through the handle of my twin-tip when i was starting out. looked a bit silly, but worked ok and easy to spot. Some have used a wheelbarrow inner tube as well. works good, and heaps cheaper than a go-joe.

waaay more sensible than a stupid leash.

Stick with it, cause your body dragging will also get more efficient, and youll be doing it less and less.

Every time we learn a new trick, it's body dragging time!
have fun
