Does anyone have any dates they are keen for to set the next meeting?
How is either sunday arvo 10th at the beach or monday night 11th at mermaid traven?
Any thoughts on those.
This meeting will be for relections, the club at the moment is a joke!
Half way thru summer and still counting!
I hear there is a whole bunch of new kiters in the broadwater, would be sic if we can all spread the word out to those guys.
Let everyone know, more the merrier.

cheers

Has anyone thought about having the meeting after a downwinder? Seems like heaps of people will turn up for the downwinder. They might like to hang around afterwards for a meeting with a BBQ & a few beers.

Hey Fitzey, where have you been? Didn't see you today jumping over the windsurfers at the Smith St. bank.

There yesterday Samb0.

Unfortunately Melbourne business plans severely interfered with the important business of kiting today.

Should be rectified by tomorrow.

I was really on my limit today, not trying to jump, at the same time attemting to stay out of the way , down wind of any windsurfer. I am not out there to p--s anyone off. I used to love skimming the bank on my windsurfer years ago but I don't feel motivated to windsurf any more. What does windsurfing do for you that kiting doesn't?

sambo, i love windsurfing for the thrill and kitesurfing for the thrill and both are different and exiting!
it's cool to mix up the two and i feel priveliged to be able to.

i just don't feel it necessary to "jump over windsurfers when i'm kiting"

you were cranking today dude! we all shared the space and it was fun!

another week of it, and you will see me back on da kite 2morrow,
lets boost!!!

Or just take em on a toe-side race.... hey greeny

check out fitzy in the photos section. Thank god that pole was there.
Great last couple of days at broady. Nearly lost fitzy in one of those 21-32knt gusts.

Mermaid taven has a meeting room upstairs with screen and can fit 100 for next week if the club wishes. wont charge us for the use. will have to let em know time/day. Minors fine up till 9pm

What's happening, are we going to have a meeting or what?

Can someone on the current board arrange a meeting, or will my prediction come to fruition and we won't have one until the new year?

I know a lot of us need a little bit more notice then 3 days to arrange to get there, especially this time of year.

Paul J. i think you might find that a lot of people interested in the club may still not be members of AKSA as of the last formal meeting we still didn't have a bank account due to the problems that CJ had with the closing of the last club etc.

I know a number of people, as I'm sure you do that are interested and asking questions, but don't compete at comps' so aren't members of AKSA, as they think it's the only reason to join, but would quite happily put money into a local club, and these are the people that we need to get into our club for all the obvious reasons.

P.S. Anne and myself are current financial members of AKSA and hence the local club, we hope!

but you already knew that.
