I am heading up to the Goldy next week for 10 days, definately taking my board but at this time of the year is it worth taking the kite? The surf has been cranking the last 4 days!

Ive kited kingy the last four days. (just south of goldy). so i reckon bring it

mr bowsky, the potential in late august for near summery seabreezes of 15ish knots+ is, well showing as always great potential!
the best thing about the weather is that if you leave your gear at home it will blow like stink, and if you bring it, it may blow like stink or not.
