A Big Shout out to the crew at boat's on monday, being a bumbly kite crashing first day out newbie (novice would be a big step up) to kitesurfing, it was great to get the support and a lot of help from all of you. Thanks for the tip's, launch's and for dragging my kite out of the shore break over and over again (and for not bitching when I was getting in your way ) It's good to see a sport where everyone: 1)Remembers that they had to start somewhere 2) Helps and watches out for each other out, 3) And keeps a positive attitude....
Nice introducion to a great sport,
Look forward to catching some wind again with you guys soon, and Again Thanks

Not a problem shane, I remember when I started ,the help that I recieved will never be forgotten and more than happy to help a begginner.

The boaties crew are a top bunch of people, you will also find that they all kite at Kurnell in a NE or a NW.

The Brighton boys are also very friendly and always willing to help out. Before you know it you will have everyones mobile and when the wind starts to blow the phone never stops ringing.

Everytime you see the trees move because there is a howling NE blowing you will just want to be kiting with your mates, I warn you it will rule your life and every decision you make will be based around kiting and trying to work out how to get out of work so you can go kiting.

See you soon

Hey Shane - good to see you got out with the boys - told you they were a good bunch - couldn't go myself monday - just too stuffed - not from kiting - I'm desperate for that - but had just come off 48 hrs no sleep - fraid the old body just couldn't cut it. But I'm rested up now and ready to rock - just need some wind.
Tomorrow doesn't look good but thur, fri may work out.
Send me an email to [email protected] with your mobile and I'll circulate it to the crew.
How did you like your new kite.
regards

Big Kev you did not miss out on much, wind was very light but it was kiteable , boaties produced the goods once again.

The RnD kurnell crew were at it again fine tunning the modifications to their crossbows looks like it was a success.

I personally think they will start making kites soon they certainly know what they are doing.

The new kite was fun, actually any kite would have been fun. It was just great to get out there.....was sick of looking at it sit in the corner for the last week, watching my learner video over and over (must of missed the section on breathing underwater with a mouthful of crossbar)and reading every inch of my first kiting magazine. I wish I could of put the Contra to it paces....however it put me to my paces... and loved every minute of it. I can feel the addiction quickly building up.....first give away is watching the seabreeze graph every 15 minutes to see if it looks good for the weekend...and thinking of excuses how to go to work with a wetsuit tan around the neck and wrists and explaining how sick I was yesterday....
Col, I bombed my details through to your email

See you all soon

Buenos Vientos
