Hi All,
I have just arrived on the Gold Coast, staying in camp site on Tallebuder Creek, and am looking for some good (out of the waves if possible) spots to kite while I am here over the next week.
If anyone can recommend it would be much appreciated!!!!!

Hey gav - not sure there are many flat water spots on the goldie - my limited knowledge would suggest you check out the broadwater up past southport just near the KFC or the mouth of currumbin ck at high tide. unless its a big day you should be able to get out through the surf somewhere - in front of currumbin ck for example - and once you're out the back you're sweet. good luck

Head to Narrowneck or Currumbin in the rivermouth, very friendly locals at these spots too. Good luck.
