I'm in Eagle Bay from 27-12 -06 to 2-1-07 and need somewhere to kite(there's only so much wineries I can handle)
Any popular good locations down that way for a good session??????

you could also drive to Australind - plenty of kiters on the estuary.

I'd also like to know more ocean spots between the capes. I'd try Yals... where do you take off from? Rabbits is a bit hairy for me.

yallingup launch best as close to rabbits as u can, northern end of the beach, get out just south of the rabbits reef
otherwise too farin lee of headland and a bit hairy (hey jjd), same goes for riding the wave, too far inshore and the wind is effected
kited lefties stretch last week, no drama along there
launch bottom of stairs and got up wind to lefties ok
boat ramps good, main break a bit of a zoo
grunters or lagoon just north ok

wind more fickle especially the further south u go
seabreeze at leeuwin is se but sw at naturliste, can mix at bit in between and shut off quickly ie go SSE or SE later in evening
last week some good days, others were more testing, measured 0-20kn at gnarabup, 15-30 at lefties, could see the lulls on the ocean, in between 10m kite on 20m lines hanging on
