google analytics downloads a javascript file onto your computer which reports back to google details about the user such as surfing habits. Basically it tracks individual users behaviour
Its spyware in my book and I've got it blocked.
Googles will be on the decline if they keep up with **** like this.

I couldn't give a Flying.... if they track my surf habits..then they can bring me relevant links, like to kite stuff.
On the net you leave a trail, whether you like it or not. Who really cares.....you let in what you think are the "good guys" and keep out the bad...freedom of choice.
Don't really think that there is any secret plot except for Google to want to make you happy so that someday maybe you buy something from them.......that's all.

My mates often watch me surf. One used to spy on my surfing from the dunes but i think he was gay.
Dont mind if people spy on my surfing, its not really that impressive anymore.
