What actually caused the looping? Was your bridle caught around the wing?

It's common knowledge that North invented struts.

5th lines are shocking for that. I get caught out at lease once every few months!

... teehee, a bit of fun to remember the bad old days!!

That happened around 2008-ish, and Dave aka Bike borrowed my kite but his bar and safety line got caught around harness loop so couldn't release the kite. There are rocks just under the water too (not a very friendly place to kite) so couldn't really stand against the kite to stop it from dragging him! Doh!!

Kite was eventually fixed but never the same, poor thing looked like it had chicken pox with all the little patches, had heaps of little nicks and bladders were constantly leaking.

Oh, and Bike bought the most expensive bottle of Burbon he could find. Had me a nice headache from that one!!
