can anyone help with conditions ,locations and any contacts with hamilton island this weekend...
I'm going there Thursday to Monday.

hey stabber . i was supposed to work up there last week but it has been put off until the 19th aug so let me know what its like.
i asked the same question a couple of weeks ago and everyone said that it was very average there. execpt white haven beach if you can get there.
i`ve got a new rev 13m i`m busting to use so keep me informed dude.
have fun hope you get some good wind.

If you are only on Hamilton, you most likley wont get much action.
You will need to have a boat at your disposal to get to a location such as whitehaven.
Have you checked out google earth, the side of the island that gets the SE trades is mostly bush and rock
The wind and the water temp are good, but the whole whitsudays are mountainous islands and not that many beaches suitable for kiting.

Mate i live on hamo and the beaches on the island are no chop. My little bro kites as well and he has sat off and has access to a rib so if you were keen he might be able to take you to henning if the wind is up but the forcast looks like a dud! no wind for another week. Two months ago the wind was reliable now its a bit hit and miss.
