Point the board downwind slighty just prior to edging hard upwind. As you make the carve upwind, pull hard on the bar in the opposite direction. You need to do this to get good pop.

Waves... make all the difference, nothing better than popping off the lip and wrenching the kite up high... now all I need is some wind *twitches*

Biggest jumps are when you can get the kite to 11 oclock ,just before you leave the water pull the kite back to 1 oclock and pull the bar in, after you have left the water start to steer the kite back, depending on the height you get you might have to keep the kite at 1 oclock to 12 before you steer it back.Jumping using waves helps heaps.Good luck.

What? Jumping with big kites is so much harder than small ones.

Graceful - If your talking about jumping without using the kite for lift:
make sure you have good speed; the faster, the higher, the better
don't try to edge really hard; it's more of a carve upwind

BTW, what board are you using?

Agree with Skiddz, bigger kites are harder to boost big air with. Sorry bro but size does not matter, it's more the relation between windstrength, size of the kite and speed of it that does it. If the wind is 20 knots and you fly a 16m kite I'm pretty sure you won't boost higher than if you were flying a 12 or even 9 and use it correctly...
