somehow the LE bladder on my X3 has detached inside the LE, and the nozzle for inflation, once inflated will slip away inside the kite and i cant plug it up...ghey.

1. Let alot of the air out and hold the kite by the nozzle and give it a damn good shake in many directions.
2. Then open the zipper and try to re-arrange the bladder so that it matches the same orientation for a few meters down the LE from each side of the nozzle.
3. Then pump up very very very carefully. if there's a twist in it, it goes *pop.* (a heartbreaking sound)

If all else fails A good compromise is to push the dump valve in so it remains inside the kite. Then make sure you do up the velcro tab over the dump-valve-hole so the bladder dosn't blow out there.

repeat steps 1 2 and 3.

The dump valve remains inside the kite's LE and not really poking out the hole where it should be. This worked for me on my 14m X3

Also get hold of some eurathane based glue. you will need it when the valve comes off the bladder. OR better still get some stick-on valves and keep them handy.

I persisted with both these problems for a while until i upgraded.
........ you didn't get my old X3 did you????

Happy kiting!

if that doesnt work put like 40 % air in it open up the tabs at the tips of the kite and with a mate each pull the end of the bladder until equal amount is poking out each end. Tuck them back and reinflate.

What size is it - I have a spare 12m lying around at my joint.

Belongs to a mate, so subject to confirmation, but could be donated to a good home for a carton.

same used to happen on my boxer 14. found it was because i had the leash going to the pump too tight and it would bend there when i was pumping up, and somehow twist around. longer leash and no more problem. Hope this helps ya.

talcum powder, no joke put it in your LE (on the outside of the bladder and inside of the kite) and when you shake it about as described earlier it should sort itself out as long as you have the nozzle in the right place

Hi InfiniDIE,

Check out Newbie tip number 21. http://www.kiteboardingschool.com.au/tips_&_Tricks.htm

There is only really one way to sort it out, PROPERLY! DO NOT just poke the dump valve inside the LE, you will end up with a blowout for sure.

Read through the text and use what is appropriate. It is usually quicker and easier to remove the bladder and re-insert it with plenty of talcum powder on it as mentioned in a previous reply.

Good luck,
