Hey dude, Ian young gives lessons on the Swan

http://members.iinet.com.au/~ianyoung/lesson.html

Or if you're more south there is Jason from Rockingham

www.fulltilt.com.au

Or the dudes I used which were great tutors - Darren (or is it Dennis) down at Pinnaroo PT north from Hillarys

Sorry can't recall their web site but they are active sponsors on this site.

Anyhow not yet much good for a learner to be out trying to get into the sport, cold front winds are too dodgy IMHO but if you realy want to get into some body dragging then best bet would be Ian.
.
It's also a good idea to have some practice on a small 2 to 3 meter trainer kite first to get the most out of any lessons in the future. The kite shop down at Howe Street Osborne Park have a nice packaged deal (trainer kite, dvd, info book) and I think you can get some money back once you're finished with the kite. But going from your question sounds like you may have some gear already and your looking for a kite bud/mentor?

Anyway Nigel it all depends on what kind of cash you got to spend too huh!... Have fun
