Hi All!

Here is a short story...

I lost my new board yesterday following a very badly stuffed jump and a long swim in...

I looked for it for hours from the beach until the sun set, but could not see it... I walked the beach 2 or 3 km downwind, 3 times, climbed dunes to see further, asked swimmers, sun bakers, fishermen, lost persons (?), etc, without any success...

Last night was sad sad sad...

As a last chance, and beyond any hope, my wife and I went for a walk along the beach
-very- early this morning... We never know...
After 30 minutes walking downwind from last night's crash, I decided to turn back as it was geting late to go to work...

My wife offered to pursue downwind...

As I was walking back, my wife called me:
"I found your board"
"Are you kidding me?" I replied!

10 m from where I turned back, she saw the top of two straps and a handle sticking up above the sand within the intertidal zone... She first thought it was seaweed, as we thought numerous times before...

But no, this time, it was it! The board, buried during the night tide, ready to be fully buried by the next tide!!!

JOY JOY JOY followed!!!

Now I am wonderig: how many board are buried along the WA coast?

Ni-night!

Fred
