Hey
Have been able to get out on some nice flat water in 15 knots or so in Hervey Bay for the last 4 days but not many other kiters around perhaps as have had to put up with some overcast and rainy and slightly gusty conditions ..but hey there's wind and I've had a few days off so making the most of it.
Around the higher tide head south of the Pier, near the Aquarium you can kite here until half tide in or out, otherwise head north of the Pier on the lower tide. Is best if not too much south in the wind as it is more off-shore and gusty.
Best not to kite too close to the Pier if possible and upset the fishermen...oh and watch out for stingrays. Good luck.
