I stayed at Hayman for a conference last year and took my kiting gear. The most practical way to kite was to take the speedboat out to the small sand cay/island offshore and kite there. The harbour seems to be quite protected from the prevailing winds so you need to get quite a way out before you are in anything clean. There seemed to be a suitable spot around past where the choppers land - but choppers and kiting mmmmm.
