Wow heres a plan, lets advertise the all too few, near Perth, metro surf breaks on the forum, then we can all head to them and enjoy the welcome ceremony put on by the local Surfing population. I sneak into a few of these breaks from time to time (including the Spot) and am ever aware of the general consensus amongst board riders, being that Kite Surfers are a pox. Having surfed for over 35 years and Kited for 2, I am all too aware that the majority of Surfers are yet to embrace us. Let's give them a bit of space, if we sneak into their favourite breaks it would be nice to show a little discretion, leave the crowd at home, keep the location to ourselves and allow them priority on the waves.
"Head to the SPOT" almost sounds like a battle cry.

Decent surf spots in Perth Ummm..... maybe half a dozen

Decent kitespots in Perth - bloody too many to count

Now go get your calculator and work out why they aren't wanting to give you a big snuggle and kissypoo mate

I hate localism a lot but simply put 10 surfers can share a break - one kite takes up a huge space and usually fks it for all of em. [}:)]

Even as a kiter if you had to sit still in the drink and have kiters jumping in and out of the take-off you would be probably skidding ya dacks too.

not worth the trip, that area seems to get more onshore than around Perth for some reason, leave it to the ferrals

Agreed it sucks. Too onshore and agro locals. Plus your car will get busted into or stolen.

made the trip to The Spot enough times in good surfing conditions to find TRBR monopolised it for a comp, so about time someone p1ssed them off in good kiting conditions. (Long way to go to surf Nails with 30 other bloke!)
