Hey Brownee,

If you're throwing free kites around for a demo, then I'll give one a thrashing, more than willin to try out some loopdie-loops and put it through its paces- thats if we ever see some wind again...

Did you ever send those pics from the woodies comp? Try this address if the last one failed: [email protected]

I need a kiting fix bad, if I can't have a session, then photos will have to do, hell I might even have to stoop as low as buying the new KBM if we don't get a session soon!

cheers mate

the only way to even compare a light wind "lighter materials" kite, is to have 1 rider, on 1 board, ride it , and a few other brands during the same session in same wind... and a direct comparasin of the overhyped hype can be made..... personally if i wanted a lighter kite I'd a. by a foil, which are allready the highest lift / weight ratio or b.inflate my kite with helium. It's cheaper than paying for an expensive cloth!... and you could make a bottle for storing your helium in so you can reuse it.. like an inflater / deflater pump, and you'd have a source of helium to play with at parties! :)

Orright you lot, sounds like your blowing too much wind outa your ass about new gear. If these guys have new technology that makes kites go faster, bigger and last longer then I'm on, BIG TIME. I bought a quiver of Bests at the start of the season mainly because I could get 3 kites at a good price. Did my homework and asked why they were so cheap and everyone said they were great kites at a good price, so I went for it, called Steve and had ém on the doorstep in a week. STOKED. Have flown ém all summer, autumn and now winter and I have had no dramas with them, stable, fly unreal and if my 10 was a chick I would marry it. When I upgrade guess who I'm going to, you don't need to be a brain surgeon to figure out that one. I have no affiliation with any company, for those who have come and kited Shark Bay, you'll be able to vouch for that. I'm the only kiter in the Bay at the moment. If another company put out a product that was as good at the right price then I'd go and have a look and a fly and if they were better I'd go buy that. Its not about labels or who looks better its about getting out there on good gear at the right price, if you can save $2k on gear who gives a flying *uck who made it. If I buy a Hellfish and it lasts me 2 seasons and flies unreal then I am on, BIG TIME.
Orright enough whinging, I've been watching this thread over the past few days and just had to have a say, looks like no wind is turning you all into a bunch of moaning metrosexuals. Monkey Mia has been on all week first thing in the morning, get out there at 8am, kite til lunch and cruise the arvo. Looks like I'm on again in the morning. A few crew in the water would be good to get the stoke levels up there.
Just had to have my say.
Aloha

Hey Hunglong
Thats an offer far too good to refuse. I'll give the bugger a workout up here and see where we go from there. Had to have a bit of a spray the other night, far too much bulls*it and not enough action, I suppose everyones waiting for wind. HAHA.
When your ready to send it up give me a call 0409107456. Fully stoked that you'll be sending it up.
Cheers mate.
