I currently as in the last topic have a 14mtr. Contra and an old crossbow 12 2006. Would this be able to replace the 12mtr. in cruising mode and no fancy tricks just back and forth cruising? I have an airush 150cm board for lightwind and an old Lab Rat 150 x 30cm for med. winds. I have read some reviews and they always say that this is a low 'grunt kite'. What's the minimum and max.windspeed in kts.
for this kite before it stalls or keeps yanking me over? am at 160lbs or 68-70kls. and fairly adept at cruising. No friends kiting with me other than windsurfing so it's hard to compare notes. Would like to kite in flat to lumpy water when the tide's low and when the winds between 8-14kts. Contra is bit overwhelming at 12kts plus even when the CAS straps are fully depowered and pigtails set at the third point. He has told me the low end problem and the upwind speed as well. Regards
