Been going for a year now,all in the surf.Have those skills down well enough but my problem is with larger jumps. I get to say, the six to ten feet level and know where my kite is and then pull down on my front arm to locate my kite into a position so when i land i am still powered but when i get any higher and start to hang what should my kite be doing? Thanks for any advice.

Once you start your boost. keep your kite powered up and working from either side. So your just zig zagging your kite in the air. Doesnt have to be very far.. Then when you stop going up set your kite in power to land

Further to the above:
Once you start coming down after zigzagging your kite and are about 3-5M from the water pull hard on your front hand. Put the almost straight at the water. If it's too far to the side you'll get pulled sideways and land on your side. You'll land a bit faster so just aim downwind with your board. If you do it too early then you'll just do a downloop and can turn around on landing and go the other way.

cranking the kite down as inverted said also helps as it gives you a bit of a yank upwards to slow you back down or in some conditions you go up a bit.
