Hi everyone.
I am 60kg and i have been riding a 12 meter C Shape kite... well my kite is getting old. i think it is time to chage it. i´ve been thinking about a slingshot rev 9 or 7... i dont know wich size would fit me better so ...here i am waiting for your opinions

How big would my wind range be with the 7 REV? what would you do?

Good winds

Hey bro

I used to ride a 10m Cab Element 'C' Kite, and changed to a 9m LF Session.

I was 52-55kgs when I was on my 10m, and now 57-59kgs on my 9m.
I can get out from 17 knots to a solid 25, and it would help if I had a smaller board than my 138 Cab Custom.

I would be going the 9m personally!
Good luck

hey dorgs
i am 64kgs and ride a cab omega 7 in the heavier stuff. with it i can ride from about 18kts up but my board is pretty crap for light winds so if you had a better one you would be going well. the 9 would be a better option as you will only probly get heavier, in 15kts the 9 will give you tons of power but be micdfull that up around the 20kt mark you will have to consider a smaller kite.
i think go the 9 but wait for what others say to
have fun!!

You obviously handle the 12 with far less depower. im 75k and use an 11 between about 15 to 23knts comfortably had it out in motre than that but its not as much fun, then ive got the 7m fuel for upt o about 30knts

so id go the 9 (lov the rev)

well i think if i get the 9 i will haze 2 kites for aproximately the same windrange, but at the the same time i want the new kite to be the kite that i ride more, and not that kite that one i ride sometimes when the wind blows stronger. well acttualy i have already bought the kite before i posted this message (bought the 7 but i still can change for the 9). i am riding a naish tt sol 124 board and i think this kite will the 7 will be that onei ride someties...i feeling kind of stupid cause i dont know what to do ARGHHHHH im freeking out

my other kite is a naish raven 2005

I'm 50-55kg and I ride a 9m REV.

I've had it in winds gusting to 27knots, and can get going in about 12knots.

If you wanted to make a quiver with your 12m, both kites would be fine.

I used to have a 12m Raven, and the bottom end on these kites is terrible. I got a 9m rev, and straigh away wanted to get rid of the raven.
But in saying that, the 9m rev and the 12m raven still made a nice quiver at the time.

Bite the bullet, go the 9m and then splash out and get a 13m rev later when you realise what you've been missing out on.

I'd go the 9m personally. Such a sweet kite, but you should still be happy with the 7m. Your call

dude get a 9m C like the fuel torch hawk 3 or something like that, youl enjoy the kite alot more coming from C kites and all. C has much better feel at the bar and when you progress they will only continue to reward you and todays c kites have more than enough depower.

hey

im about 62kg and i ride a 7 and 11 fuel i find i can ride the 11 from about 12- 24knots and i ride the 7 in anything over 20 so i think that depending on the wind strengths you like to ride in either go for a 9 or 11
